Medical Assistant - Scribing & Administrative Support
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Assistant with experience in medical scribing and administrative support to assist our U.S.-based healthcare clients. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of medical administrative or scribing experience, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and possess the ability to manage sensitive patient records, compliance tasks, and physician support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document physician-patient encounters in real time or from recordings (medical scribing).
- Accurately maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Prepare and manage medical documentation, patient intake forms, and clinical notes.
- Support physicians and providers with transcription, correspondence, and clerical tasks.
- Coordinate scheduling, follow-up appointments, and provider communications.
- Organize and maintain clinical and administrative records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs, logs, and compliance checklists.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in medical scribing and administrative support (required).
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation, HIPAA standards, and healthcare workflows.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Allscripts, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
