As a Manufacturing Engineer, You Will:

• Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices.
• Utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
• Conceptualizes, develops, and initiates fixturing and tooling process improvements
• Manages projects from concept and design through capital appropriation requests to qualification within project schedule and budget.
• Support Automation which includes Tube bending and tube cutting processes
• Support and improve on many manual processes with the possibility of automating!
• Individual will utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
• Individual must be proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to all plant personnel, Engineering, Product Planning, and external suppliers
• Develops documentation for use by operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting
• Self-initiates corrective actions for quality concerns based on effective problem-solving skills and develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues
• Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements
• Individual will utilize AutoCAD, Inventor and/or 3D Software for electrical / mechanical design and repair
•  Proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to plant personnel, Engineering, Project Planning and external suppliers

Required Education, Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering. (Co-Op Experience will be in consideration).

Preferred Education Skills and Experiences:

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
• Basic programming experience
