Responsibilities
- Establish, monitor, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct audits and provide information to external auditors
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and manage cash balances
- Prepare budgets and analyze financial data for decision making
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and payroll
- Analyze budget variances and initiate corrective actions
- Prepare financial reports and special analyses
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
- Lead and manage financial staff including accounting and payroll teams
- Monitor debt levels, compliance, and payments
- Coordinate information provision for annual audits
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
