Salary Range: $65.83 - $101.06 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.
Position Overview:
The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical support to the ICU team during night shifts. Serving as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the NP functions as a physician extender, acting as the first point of contact for ICU admissions, collaborating with bedside nurses and respiratory therapists, and managing urgent patient care needs in real time. This position helps maintain continuity of care and improves responsiveness in the ICU overnight hours, covering a diverse patient population including those with respiratory failure, cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical conditions, sepsis, renal failure, neurologic emergencies, and other critical illnesses. Core competencies include excellent clinical judgement and critical thinking skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, ability to function autonomously while recognizing the need for consultation, commitment to high quality, patient-centered care, and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure and in emergent situations.
