- 4+ years professional Software Engineering experience using Python
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and system design principles
- Experience preparing students for technical interviews and internship readiness
- Virtual classroom instruction and remote teaching proficiency
- Classroom leadership and mentorship of junior instructional staff
- Clear written and verbal communication, timely grading, and feedback delivery
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and collaborating with academic and industry partners
Responsibilities
- Complete 40 hours of synchronous and asynchronous instructor training (Nov–Dec) and demonstrate proficiency with CodePath’s tools and pedagogy
- Lead up to four lecture sections (up to 50 students per section) of Algorithms & System Design from January through June 2026
- Thoroughly review and adapt provided curriculum and lesson skeletons to deliver engaging, industry-relevant lectures
- Manage, mentor, and support Assistant Instructors and Teaching Assistants (Tech Fellows)
- Hold regular virtual office hours and facilitate active participation during lab sessions
- Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with internal program teams and university partners to align on program goals and logistics
- Integrate enrichment components such as technical interview prep and promote CodePath Career Center resources
- Contribute to community-building activities and cohort calls to strengthen the CTEx student community
- Capture and share institutional knowledge, resources, and best practices to support future cohorts
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited U.S. or foreign institution
- Willingness/ability to complete required pre-semester training (40 hours) in Nov–Dec
- Full-time availability January–June 2026 and commitment to assigned course schedule/time blocks
