Skills
- Expert knowledge of cryptographic primitives and algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and hashing/signature standards.
- Proven experience designing and deploying HSMs and enterprise KMS solutions.
- Applied PKI design and certificate lifecycle management experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks for data protection (NIST, FIPS, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Strong technical communication skills for collaborating with engineers and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain corporate security architecture blueprints and cryptographic standards.
- Design robust PKI hierarchies (Root, Intermediate, Issuing CAs) and certificate policies.
- Specify, deploy, and review HSM and enterprise KMS solutions for scalability and security.
- Advise engineering, procurement, and IT teams on encryption implementations and key lifecycle management.
- Assess existing encryption solutions, identify gaps, and recommend remediations.
- Ensure encryption implementations comply with NIST, FIPS, GDPR, HIPAA and other relevant frameworks.
- Document security requirements, architectural decisions, and operational procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments, policy definition, and cross-functional security reviews.
Education
- Advanced studies or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Ongoing professional development in applied cryptography and security architecture.
