Skills
- Advanced proficiency with R programming including custom macros and workflow automation.
- Experience validating programming deliverables using SAS.
- Strong knowledge of hematology/oncology clinical domains.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Experience with ISS and ISE deliverables.
- Up-to-date knowledge of CDISC data standards (SDTM, ADaM).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs) using R based on templates or from scratch.
- Author and maintain reusable R macros/functions for efficient programming.
- Validate R-based outputs against SAS results or legacy code to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Customize outputs and visualizations according to statistical analysis plans and audience needs.
- Own programming deliverables for clinical studies, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvement, programming standards, and best practices within the team.
- Ensure compliance with CDISC standards and promote automation and reusable code.
- Coordinate programming activities, anticipate resource needs, and support project timelines.
- Identify and communicate risks or issues related to assigned studies/projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field with 8+ years clinical programming experience.
- Or Master’s degree with 7+ years clinical programming experience.
