Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack components within the existing codebase using TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, SQL, and AWS
- Explain complex technical and functional concepts clearly to product and cross-functional teams
- Act as a trusted technical advisor across product and stakeholder groups
- Make collaborative decisions on design approaches and development patterns
- Troubleshoot, resolve bugs, and help restore services as needed
- Apply object-oriented concepts and software design principles across the full SDLC
- Contribute to agile squad activities and promote software craftsmanship
- Author clear, concise, and thorough technical specifications
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated test suites, and DevOps processes
- Create training materials and assist in training internal users
- Report progress and risks to team members and stakeholders
- Evaluate and recommend external technologies for product inclusion
- Mentor and support the growth of less experienced engineers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Postgraduate degree is acceptable but not required
