Responsibilities
- Lead development of high-scale backend systems powering the website builder and core user-facing features.
- Collaborate with product, design, founders, and cross-functional teams to shape product direction and technical approach.
- Ship high-quality, performant code while balancing speed and maintainability.
- Mentor, hire, and grow a globally distributed team of engineers and lead by example.
- Own end-to-end project execution from technical planning through delivery and iteration.
- Drive performance optimizations and architectural improvements where latency and scale matter.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to validate changes and improve product outcomes.
- Engage stakeholders regularly to align on priorities and technical direction.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Continued learning mindset; relevant certifications or advanced coursework a plus
