POSITION PURPOSE:
The Associate, Investments role (Real Estate Equity focus) is an integral part of the CIM team. You’ll work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment and gain valuable exposure to a variety of projects across multiple real estate sectors, such as multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, amongst others, as well as equity investment strategies across the risk-return spectrum, including core, value-add, opportunistic, and ground-up development. Although focused on real estate, you will also gain valuable exposure to CIM’s wide range of asset types and investment platforms active in principal investing in each element of the capital stack. This position is a core member of CIM’s real estate investment strategies and will be accountable for the full set of responsibilities necessary to deliver on successful investment outcomes, from investment execution to exit.
This role is based at our corporate headquarters fully onsite in Los Angeles and supports the Real Estate Investments team through financial analysis, research, transaction execution, and ongoing management and governance through the lifecycle of an investment.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. For this role, bonus compensation may be a significant part of the total compensation. The anticipated base salary for the position in Los Angeles, CA is $175,000.
