SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic product solutions team that is responsible for developing and managing new product strategy and strategic relationships for Evernorth’s Care Solutions team. We are seeking an experienced product advisor to take on responsibility for managing strategic product initiatives and managing key relationships for Evernorth’s Care Solutions team. Working as a key member of the Product team, this role will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to determine how care delivery solutions that can complement and achieve our growth goals. This individual will interface with and collaborate with respective product peers, vendor partners, segment representatives, and development teams to elevate client needs threading through solution design, development and delivery.
The candidate for this position will ensure that Evernorth Care Solutions offerings are competitive, taking actions to identify differentiation opportunities and recommend a product roadmap that will drive profitable growth. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as client and account teams, reporting and analytics, sales teams, strategic vendor relationships, communications, pricing, finance, legal and sourcing. Support for innovative (test-and-learn) initiatives, as well as align with agile-based teams as appropriate.
This role will lead strategic initiatives and relationships to drive new opportunities for both our products and to meet client needs and expectations. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with wellness and health platforms, performance metrics and reporting and product design principals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW:
Act as the product subject matter expert and manage and communicate roadmaps, delivery updates and related projects and initiatives.
Work closely with our client, vendor and technology teams to drive advancement of overall strategy and product solutions.
Develop go-to-market rules of the road with strategic partners and operationalize for scale.
Work cross-functionally to proactively identify strategic value propositions, communications, training, and reporting required for our solutions.
Nurture strategic partnerships that advance our Evernorth strategy and develop shared roadmaps with those strategic partnerships to continuously evolve care solutions offerings.
Drive quick resolution of client and customer product issues, escalating when appropriate.
Manage relationships with our vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and reviewing contracts.
Ability to craft clear, concise communications/language to be shared externally with clients and brokers. Demonstrated experience in delivery of presentations to internal and external parties, including client and consultants.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years relevant work experience.
5+ years Product and/or Account Management experience required; wellbeing, digital exposure, and client/customer-facing sales process exposure.
3+ years successful vendor management is required.
Prior experience with sales, consultants and clients.
Successful track record of managing various stages of the product development lifecycle with ability to influence in a highly matrixed organization.
Strong influencing and presentation skills. Can convey complex information in an understandable way to various audiences.
Creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate ideas into actions; ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a heavily matrixed culture and drive results with strong sense of urgency, and in an environment of ambiguity.
Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to prioritize job requirements.
Excellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate execution of initiatives.
Heightened attention to detail and quality.
Up to 20% travel may be required.
