6 Henson is a 25-bed, medical-surgical unit that cares for patients within the Endocrinology, Pulmonology and Neurology/seizure patient specialties. We have a medication room at each station, as well as two clean utility rooms, two nutrition rooms, and two soiled utility rooms. We also have a playroom and treatment room for patients to use as well.
Utilizes nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care for low acuity assigned patients. Assists with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.50/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
