Conducts exercise physiology lab testing as per physician orders utilizing various modalities and equipment (treadmill, cycle ergometer, recumbent stress-echo, CPET, spirometry, tilt table testing, 6-minute walk tests). Travel required within the outreach locations in the Kansas City area, Wichita, KS, Topeka, KS, and Columbia, MO. Interprets exercise testing results and provides feedback to physicians and families regarding testing outcomes and recommendations. Contributes to formulation of and execution of exercise-related research studies with ongoing data entry into exercise physiology lab database. Collaborates within multi-disciplinary teams in several sub-specialty clinics with emphasis on exercise behavior change, exercise adherence and exercise counseling. Monitors inventory of laboratory supplies, maintains laboratory equipment, and assists with scheduling of patient testing and various other administrative tasks.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $26.91/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
