As part of our commitment to transforming pediatric mental health care, Children’s Mercy is proud to expand services through the Illuminate Initiative. We are thrilled to open our Partial Hospitalization Program and are seeking a compassionate, master’s-level clinician to join our founding team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based individual, group, and caregiver-focused therapy to children and adolescents participating in the PHP. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health technicians, and behavioral health care coordinators to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.

Children's Mercy Department of Social Work, Child and Family Mental Health Services provides programing, which supports families through evidence-based clinical services. Our mental health services are provided for a broad range of patients and families, including children in mental health crisis, parents struggling with child's behavioral problems, children and families who have been impacted by trauma, and children at risk for abuse and neglect. The age range for patients to receive services is as young as 2 and up to 18, or older within the emergency department should there be a need. Goals of treatment may include safety planning, crisis stabilization, skill development, enhanced resiliency, social integration, improved ability of parents to support their child, improved communication, and parenting skills. Our specially trained master level licensed clinicians are embedded throughout the hospital system within specialty clinics, ambulatory clinics, inpatient units, and emergency departments.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.15/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
