Skills
- Independent licensure in Massachusetts (Professional Counseling, MFT, or Clinical Social Work) and eligibility to supervise.
- Strong clinical supervision and coaching skills with focus on clinical decision-making and measurable outcomes.
- Competence diagnosing mental health disorders per DSM-5 and managing crisis response.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, Google Workspace, telehealth platforms, and standard clinical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, reflective listening, and mentorship abilities.
- Reliable computer (not a Chromebook), high-speed internet, and a private space for supervision or sessions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a pod of up to 5–6 Therapy Associates, providing regular, high-quality clinical supervision focused on decision-making and measurable outcomes.
- Lead case reviews and reflective practice sessions; review intake notes, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for supervisees.
- Schedule and conduct mandatory supervision meetings, interview prospective supervisees, and track supervision hours and documentation.
- Support supervisees’ engagement with Cerebral Institute programming and measurement-informed care tools.
- Assist clinicians with crisis response and clinical risk management when needed.
- Optionally maintain a personal caseload (60-minute individual, couples, group, or family sessions) and manage client-facing responsibilities.
- Attend monthly supervision leadership meetings and company-wide town halls (or view recordings).
- Provide in-person supervision where state requirements mandate and where feasible.
Education
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent clinical field.
- Current independent clinical license in good standing in Massachusetts and eligibility to supervise.
