THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a strategic, data-aware Audience Strategy & Optimization Manager to help shape and optimize audience-led campaigns. This role focuses on audience planning, campaign optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with Client Services, Product, and Data Science.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Audience Strategy & Planning
Build thoughtful audience strategies based on client objectives, vertical insights, and platform capabilities.
Leverage first-party data, context signals, predictive/AI models, and audience taxonomies to construct high-value segments.
Support Client Services and Sales with audience recommendations and strategic rationale for proposals.
Campaign Optimization
Monitor live campaign delivery and adjust audiences models to improve KPIs (AQ, QVR, Rx Lift, etc.).
Provide optimization recommendations that align audience selection with creative, inventory, and channel strategies.
Identify performance drivers (audience quality, targeting breadth, frequency, supply diversity, etc.) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Run or support audience-level tests (e.g., audience A\B, creative-to-audience fit tests, incremental value tests).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Data Science to share qualitative feedback on audience performance or model behavior.
Partner with Product on new targeting features, audience workflows, or enhancements to audience-building tools.
Collaborate closely with Client Services to align on KPIs, provide optimization strategies, and communicate audience-driven impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of experience in audience strategy and optimization ideally within healthcare, programmatic, or audience activation environments.
· Deep understanding of media platforms and identity graphs (e.g., Meta, TTD, DeepIntent, LiveRamp, etc.).
· Experience working with anonymized or privacy-regulated data is a strong plus.
· Ability to work hands-on with data files, formats (CSV, JSON), and trafficking templates.
· Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables under tight timelines.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills; experience working cross-functionally.
· Startup or early-stage experience strongly preferred.
