- Proven product design experience shipping SaaS products with strong UX outcomes
- Strong interaction, visual, and prototyping skills (rapid iteration, validation)
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into designs
- Familiarity contributing to and maintaining design systems
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to simplify and design for complex workflows and architectures
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and scope in partnership with Product Management and Engineering
- Own design for initiatives from research and concept through wireframes, mockups, and implementation
- Rapidly prototype multiple ideas to validate product directions and inform tradeoffs
- Conduct user research and interviews to drive product decisions and improve usability
- Contribute to and evolve the company Design System by identifying gaps and creating reusable components
- Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Collaborate effectively in a hybrid environment with in-office and remote teammates
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or related field preferred OR equivalent practical experience
- Relevant coursework or portfolio evidence of product design work
- Scientific or lab experience a plus but not required
