Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Systems Programmer Analyst in Jersey City, NJ, to analyze, design, code, test, implement, and support Java application programs. Ensure program performance through systematic test plans. Identify and track defects. Develop unit/integration test plans that thoroughly exercise program logic to verify requirements, system integration, and performance. Document test results and resolve discrepancies. Analyze and classify change requests. Identify and troubleshoot change scope and interface impact. Interpret business requirements and write system design documents. Produce new and modified code that meet user requirements, conform to departmental standards, and contain reliable, secure, and easy to maintain structure. Review program specs, source code, and technical screens/reports. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related computer field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience in Java, Java Enterprise Edition, Spring/Spring Boot, PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, IBM Websphere, Tomcat, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
