Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled classroom and laboratory instruction in aircraft maintenance
- Develop and refine curriculum and course materials aligned with industry standards
- Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment and provide individualized student support
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized lab with properly functioning tools and equipment
- Monitor student attendance and retention indicators and escalate issues as needed
- Participate in instructor evaluations, in-service trainings, and faculty meetings
- Manage inventory of department equipment and submit replenishment requests
- Complete administrative tasks and other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Education
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Associate’s degree in a related field (preferred)
