About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Director, User Experience with 13-15 years of experience to lead our UX department at the highest level. As the Senior Director of User Experience, you will define and champion the UX strategy across the organization, ensuring that all products and services are designed with the user in mind. You will manage and mentor senior leaders within the UX team, influence cross-functional initiatives, and work closely with executive leadership to align UX efforts with our broader business goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead a visionary UX strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and long-term objectives.
Oversee and mentor a team of UX directors, managers, designers, and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Partner with C-level executives and senior leadership to integrate UX considerations into the company’s strategic planning and product development processes.
Ensure that all products and services provide a seamless, intuitive, and delightful user experience that meets user needs and business goals.
Lead the development and implementation of design systems, UX guidelines, and best practices across the organization to ensure consistency and scalability.
Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changing user behaviors, and apply this knowledge to guide product strategy and development.
Advocate for the importance of UX at the executive level, ensuring that user experience is a core consideration in all business decisions.
Manage UX budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Oversee the UX team’s growth and development, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
Represent the company’s UX vision externally, contributing to thought leadership in user experience.
Qualifications
13-15 years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of leading large-scale UX initiatives and managing UX teams.
Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align UX initiatives with broader company objectives.
Deep expertise in UX design principles, user research methodologies, and usability best practices.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of UX to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
Experience developing and implementing design systems and UX guidelines at a large organization.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to measuring UX success and informing design decisions.
Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS) and their impact on design.
Ability to manage complex projects and lead a large, diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Annual Salary Range: $204K-$241K plus 15% annual bonus, with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match.
