Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Senior Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and instill a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze plans, specifications, and engineering documents.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs using computer-aided tools (HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam).
- Assist in bid preparation, construction scheduling, and production-based cost calculations.
- Support proposal development and attend pre-bid site visits.
- Transition successful bids to Operations with clear documentation.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 10+ years in heavy civil construction (highway, earthwork, underground utilities).
- Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Primavera, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office.
Other:
- Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written/oral) and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with time management and multitasking skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year.
- Benefits: Competitive package (details provided upon offer).
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Work Arrangement: On-site (office-based with occasional site visits).
Working Conditions: Primarily desk work with occasional standing, bending, and lifting (5–20 lbs).
