Overview:
We're seeking experienced Litigation Legal Secretaries (2 openings) to join a prestigious California law firm in their Sausalito or Sacramento offices. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity with a respected full-service firm handling complex cases across labor/employment, construction, real estate, and business litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and court filings
- Prepare exhibits and assemble materials for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court schedules
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and client communications
- Utilize iManage for document organization and retrieval
- Handle administrative tasks with precision in a fast-paced litigation environment
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma (required)
Experience:
- 4+ years as a litigation legal secretary (mandatory requirement)
- Experience with California court procedures and e-filing
Other:
- 70+ WPM typing speed
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Expertise with iManage or similar document management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
- $80,000 – $92,000 (commensurate with experience)
