UX Designer and Researcher
Skills
- 7+ years experience in user experience design or research.
- Ability to conduct generative and evaluative research and synthesize insights.
- Strong interaction design skills with a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking.
- Experience designing for hardware-software systems and technical tools preferred.
- Proficient with design tools like Figma and Miro.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping UX structures.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research from planning to synthesis and communicate insights to inform design strategy.
- Design user flows and interactions for robotic interfaces, VR, and fleet management software.
- Facilitate workshops and design activities with cross-functional teams to build alignment.
- Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts.
- Conduct usability testing on early concepts to evaluate clarity, safety, and learnability.
- Establish foundational tools, templates, and processes for a growing UX practice.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to implement research-driven designs.
- Adapt work approaches for both quick-turn testing and long-term vision building.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent field or experience.
