Skills
- Proven leadership in scaling manufacturing from prototype/low-rate to high-rate production
- Expertise in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and RCCA for process capability and yield improvement
- Experience implementing MES, automation, digital twins, and predictive analytics
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to develop technical roadmaps for equipment, tooling, and factory digitalization
Responsibilities
- Define and execute technical operations strategy across product families and sites to optimize throughput, yield, quality, and cost
- Lead cross-functional technical teams (industrial engineering, process engineering, equipment engineering, automation/controls, technical support)
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Programs to align technical roadmaps with business objectives
- Drive NPI readiness including pilot builds, qualification, and transition to full-rate production
- Implement process control frameworks, failure mode mitigation, and robust quality controls
- Deploy Industry 4.0 initiatives (MES, digital twins, analytics) to enable predictive control and continuous improvement
- Report technical performance, risks, and roadmap progress to senior leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or related technical discipline (required)
- Master’s or Ph.D. in relevant field (preferred)
