Amplify is seeking a Curriculum Developer for K-5 Math who will work on customizing and developing a new K-12 math curriculum with a focus on a student-centered, problem-based approach.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include writing and customizing math content for print and digital environments, revising work based on feedback, reviewing curriculum elements for quality, and ensuring alignment between print and digital resources.
Skills: Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and experience in K-5 education or curriculum development, specifically in mathematics.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in educational settings or curriculum development, knowledge of the Common Core standards, and experience teaching K-5 math are required; a graduate degree and knowledge of specific Amplify tools are preferred.
Location: This is a remote position based in the United States.
Compensation: $40 - $40 / Hourly

Amplify is developing and customizing a new K-12 math curriculum that is (1) consistent with a student-centered, problem based pedagogical philosophy, (2) supports students and teachers in developing positive math identities, (3) demonstrates the utility, power, and beauty of math, (4) builds inclusive classroom communities that celebrate diversity, and (5) assists educators in orchestrating productive mathematical discussions.
The Curriculum Developer (CD) will work closely with the Curriculum Manager, Lead and fellow CDs to customize the Amplify Desmos Math curriculum for state adoptions, while also reviewing digital content and collaborating with other teams (e.g., Product, Design, Editorial, Graphing, etc.).
