American Plastics is a privately owned injected molded plastics company that designs and manufactures workhorse items in the United States, utilizing green processes and superior engineering.  American Plastics is a growing company, with production and distribution footprints in Missouri, Ohio, Arizona, North and South Carolina.  The role will be located in one of our plant/office locations  (MO, OH, NC, SC, AZ) and will report to the Director of Project Management.

American Plastics is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to over see and delivery high-impact projects from concept to completion.  In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functioning teams and ensuring project goals align with business objectives.  If you excel at strategic planning, problem-solving, and team coordination we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate teams and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and scope

• Proven ability to establish countermeasures for off scheduled conditions

• Manage multiple projects at one time

• Develops project scope and objectives and insuring agreement with key stakeholders

• Manage relationships with all stakeholders

• Creates and maintains project documentation

• Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders highlighting project milestones and countermeasures for any delays

• Manages multiple projects successfully & simultaneously on a consistent basis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field or relevant work experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management including leading New Product Development process

• Experience in injection molding is a plus

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams w/o direct reports

• Excellent communication skills to communicate

• PMP is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Project or SmartSheet

• Minimum travel required
