Responsibilities
- Define and execute multi-year engineering and automation roadmap for global fulfillment and retail logistics.
- Lead design, standards, and optimization for material handling, storage, slotting, and facility layout.
- Manage large-scale projects including DC builds, retrofits, and automation deployments from concept through delivery.
- Establish and maintain global engineering standards, SOPs, time standards, and documentation libraries.
- Drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, benchmarking, and root-cause diagnostics to improve throughput and cost.
- Partner with Operations, Retail, IT, Planning, and 3PLs to ensure scalable, standardized processes and technology alignment.
- Lead vendor selection, RFPs, capital planning, and performance management for MHE and automation partners.
- Coach and develop multi-location engineering managers and staff, building a high-performance engineering organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field required
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred
