Responsibilities
- Support development stages for AI technologies including data curation, model training, release planning, and post-release management
- Provide direct legal counsel for AI applications, demos, agents, and conservation tools focusing on diligence, data governance, and legal-technical bridging
- Review and prepare data licenses, open source licenses, and related documentation
- Develop frameworks and processes for responsible AI development and streamlined AI releases
- Create AI development guides, playbooks, and templates to facilitate AI resource releases
- Advise strategically on legal matters balancing business goals, nonprofit mission, compliance, and evolving AI regulations
- Support due diligence and legal compliance across Ai2’s charitable, scientific, and educational activities
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Licensed to practice law in Washington State
