We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Manager, Quality Operations supporting the ASPEX Team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include:
Lead the team while overseeing daily quality management operations in manufacturing and distribution, ensuring productivity and alignment with departmental objectives.
Make operational decisions requiring leadership, time management, and communication skills.
Monitor product quality at various stages, resolve non-conformances promptly, and ensure rigorous quality control.
Maintain relevant documentation and records, adhering to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct performance appraisals, pay reviews, and training and development, and participate in hiring by providing recommendations.
Contribute to policy and procedure development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Commit to continuous improvement, meet individual job requirements, and contribute to organizational compliance.
Focusing on roles that support day-to-day quality management in manufacturing and distribution processes.
Responsible for monitoring product quality at different stages, detecting and resolving non-conformances in a timely manner, and maintaining relevant documentation and records.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
