This internship is for summer 2026. Our internships are full-time for 12 weeks, and we offer two program timelines to align with different academic calendars.
This internship will be located in SeaTac, WA. If not already in the internship city, candidates will be required to relocate for the duration of the internship.
The Engineering Intern supports Alaska Airlines Engineering Group in one or more of the following areas: Avionics Engineering, Interiors Engineering, Powerplant Engineering, Structures Engineering, or Systems Engineering. This role performs specific project work that involves learning aspects of aircraft and engine components and development, generation, and major prototyping of specific projects. This is bestowed with a high degree of ownership for the systems involved and accountability to see through these projects.
This co-op program has 2 rotations, the first one in Summer 2026 and the second rotation Summer 2027. This position will be based in Seattle, WA. This position will work at the Alaska Airlines Maintenance & Engineering Hangar building located at the SeaTac International Airport.
