This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless integration of software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and contributing to the overall improvement to our customer development cycle.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Using agile principals and methodologies, the ideal candidate will support the manual validation of our customer multiple websites graphical user interfaces validating the software changes with the task of communicating successes, failures, or issues providing detailed feedback to the customers on a frequent basis.

· Applies common T&E practices that include identification of capability requirements, meeting stakeholder needs, development of testing and evaluation approaches, development of data collection strategies, authentication, and validation of data, and reporting clear and understandable results, and providing actionable recommendations to improve the operational effectiveness of system tested.

· Provide administrative task support such as Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Weekly Status Reports (WARs) and meeting minutes.

QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications

· Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization; examples: SAFE, SCRUM, ITIL

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

· Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of specialized and/or military experience.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills

· Experience and education that aligns within the duties listed above.

· Basic understanding of testing principles and methodologies.

· Understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.

· Ability to identify and analyze results and determine root causes of defects.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Adaptable to last minute changes in test priorities.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Highly motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

· Work is generally sedentary in nature.
