Responsibilities
- Set vision and strategy for ML/AI across the company and prioritize investments across domains
- Hire, grow and retain world-class ML modelers, ML platform engineers and software engineers
- Own the core model development lifecycle and drive measurable business outcomes and PnL impact
- Partner closely with product, risk, servicing, legal and compliance to drive AI adoption and safe deployments
- Balance investments between traditional ML and transformer/LLM approaches based on business value
- Evolve and scale the ML platform with emphasis on training, tuning, model governance and serving
- Establish a fast experimentation culture with a robust yet accelerated ML development lifecycle
- Measure model performance in production and ensure operational reliability and compliance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (preferred)
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in ML, CS, Statistics or related field preferred but not required
