Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Global Media operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).

Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description

THE ROLE: Coordinator, A&E & Lifetime Network Scheduling Team

The Coordinator of Scheduling works as part of the A&E/Lifetime/LMN Scheduling, Acquisition and Strategy team. Responsibilities include key program scheduling responsibilities and working with the team to maximize ratings across Lifetime, LMN and FYI.  The Coordinator will work closely with the Research division to track and drive performance across all dayparts. The Coordinator will be responsible for curating movies, episodic selection of series and ensuring all programs are scheduled accurately for broadcast and multiplatform usage.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Entering linear schedule into What’s On (internal scheduling software), including creating air schedules, revisions, formats, piece number creation, etc.
  • Responsible for episodic scheduling of series across LMN and FYI.
  • Screen and evaluate movies to determine network placement.
  • Point person for various internal/external departments, including but not limited to: Ad Sales, Sponsorship, Programming/Production, Digital, Traffic, International, Finance, Content Distribution, Promos/Marketing, Social Media, Commercial Operations, and Listings
  • Entering multi-platform schedule that feeds key dates to FVOD, TVE and DTO
  • Work with Manager to track competitive networks and programs
  • Coordinate key Microsoft Outlook calendar meetings for full team
  • Ad-hoc projects including building presentations as needed

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • General understanding of the media entertainment industry and competitive landscape, specifically of Programming or related business divisions.
  • 1-3 years of media industry experience highly desired.  Relevant internship or other experience will also be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills with ability to multitask and adapt quickly
  • Knowledge of television programming and the pop culture competitive landscape is required
  • Strong interest in data analysis and applying data-based solutions a plus
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $33.21 - $37.36

Annual Incentive Target: 5%


 

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills,

competencies, location, and experience. A+E offers a competitive total compensation
