Responsibilities
- Lead support and escalation response for clients' Azure Data Platform and Power BI environments.
- Consult, design, and implement solutions using Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake/Warehouse, Azure ML, and Power BI.
- Design and deploy data pipelines, transformation models, semantic layers, and AI-driven solutions.
- Provide Power BI governance, performance optimization, and report development guidance.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior engineers; promote best practices and standards.
- Estimate work, communicate ticket status, and manage client-facing technical interactions.
- Create and maintain environment documentation and architectural diagrams mapping source systems.
- Evaluate and improve existing platforms, codebases, and high-volume ingestion pipelines.
- Ensure solutions meet licensing, security, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent certification and experience
- Relevant Azure, Databricks, or Power BI certifications are beneficial
