What’s the role?
The CIC Applications Development Scientist holds a pivotal role, leveraging advanced technical expertise to develop novel applications tailored to the unique demands of the life sciences industry. The outcomes of their work are integral to our growth strategy within this sector.
The role encompasses three primary responsibilities:
Supporting customers at our partner site and enabling their success, Designing and conducting experiments using ZEISS imaging solutions, either independently or through collaboration with customers, and Effectively communicating findings to drive impact with the target audience.
To excel in this position, you must possess the following attributes:
Excellent communications & time management skills, along with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a highly collaborative environment, A deep understanding of at least one of the key areas within life sciences, such as cell biology, oncology, immunology, metabolic disorders, or neuroscience, and Previous hands-on experience with light microscopy sample preparation, operation and image analysis. Ideally with expertise in high throughput scanners, high content screening or confocal and associated image analysis.
