Onsite Survey Manager - Expression of Interest
Skills
- Experience with reality-capture technologies (laser scanning, total stations, levels, GPS, UAS)
- Proficiency in survey and point-cloud software (Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, TerraScan)
- Experience with CAD/BIM platforms (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Navisworks)
- Strong project and financial management skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication
- QA/QC and technical reporting capabilities
- Health and safety compliance and site safety leadership
- Ability to mentor junior staff and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel nationwide
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise reality capture and surveying projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that meets client and design requirements
- Coordinate daily with clients, contractors, and internal teams to plan data collection and integrate surveying deliverables into broader projects
- Prepare and present technical data, reports, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor project teams, allocate resources, and drive technical execution
- Oversee QA/QC of analysis, point clouds, and surveying outputs to ensure adherence to project standards
- Maintain and enforce health and safety protocols and credentials on site
- Prepare scopes of work, cost proposals, budgets, schedules, and contracts
- Manage project financials including work-in-process, billing support, and accounts receivable tracking
- Raise and manage nonconformance reports and implement corrective actions
- Travel nationwide as required to support large advanced manufacturing programs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering, or related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Professional Surveyor licensure desired but not required
