Position Summary

Position functions as a PsychometricMedical Assistant in busy clinical site locations for the providers and provider teams within the Department of Neurology. Performs neuropsychometric testing, directs the patient flow, obtains and records meaningful use discrete data into the electronic health record, assists with procedures and/or patient care, draws blood, updates/orders equipment/supplies. Ensures the overall smooth running of the clinical office.

Job Description

• Administers psychological tests, observing and evaluation patient performance and making necessary changes in procedure.
• Scores and interprets tests, enters results in computer.
• Copies, delivers and files copies of tests to physician and division.
• Schedules test appointment times, explains procedure of testing to patients and maintains files needed.
• Researches pertinent articles for appropriate staff.
• Retrieves previous patients’ tests when needed.

Salary Range

$19.21 - $28.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
