- Experience working in a newsroom or fast-paced editorial environment
- Ability to script, edit, and publish social clips quickly and accurately
Responsibilities
- Edit raw podcast footage into polished 45–60 minute video episodes for YouTube
- Create up to five social videos per episode, including scripting, cutting, graphics, and posting
- Design thumbnails and graphics for YouTube and social platforms
- Write platform-specific social copy and headlines
- Identify and pitch editorial moments that will perform across social channels
- Coordinate with talent, marketing, ad teams, and cross-functional partners
- Work on a schedule driven by the current news cycle and East Coast hours
Education
- No specific degree required; newsroom experience prioritized
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, film, or related field preferred but not required
