Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines and storage architectures for large-scale analytics.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and automation with Python and CI/CD.
- Architect scalable, resilient cloud data environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and distribution for performance, cost, and security.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, data science, and software teams to align platform engineering with mission goals.
- Integrate and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA frameworks for federal cloud environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
- Eligibility for DHS Public Trust background investigation
