Site Reliability Engineer III
Skills
- 3+ years operating 24x7 production SaaS or cloud services
- Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services and Azure security
- Strong automation and IaC experience (ARM, Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework)
- Experience with container orchestration and management platforms
- Proficiency with system programming/scripting (Go, Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, AppInsights, Elastic Stack)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Experience with distributed/event-driven messaging (Event Hub, Service Bus, Kafka)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed multi-tenant environments
- English proficiency sufficient for international team collaboration
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and future cloud platforms
- Automate deployments and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet service-level objectives
- Maintain and support delivery and release pipelines (CI/CD)
- Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations for distributed production applications
- Ensure compliance with information security and standards (ISO, SOX, SSAE 16)
- Define, document, and improve internal engineering standards for style and maintainability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus but not required
