Senior Data Engineer
Skills
- 6+ years in data, ML, or backend engineering
- Advanced Python proficiency
- Databricks and Spark experience preferred
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with dbt
- Experience with analytical stores (Delta Lake, Snowflake, BigQuery) and relational DBs (Postgres, MySQL)
- Experience deploying and operating production ML/AI systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code concepts
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud data infrastructure optimized for scale, performance, and cost
- Automate data pipelines and implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality tests
- Expose data and processing functionality via interfaces for end users and systems
- Design and implement production-grade ML/AI infrastructure and take models to production with data scientists
- Build internal frameworks and self-service tooling to accelerate the data team
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent practical experience
