Purpose
The Scholars Lab is a PCL-based, campus-wide resource that provides infrastructure, UT Libraries subject librarian and domain-situated expertise, and opportunities for learning, consultation, collaboration, and research presentation to enhance multidisciplinary research and digital scholarship.
The Scholars Lab Graduate Student Technician supports the UT Libraries Scholars Lab through providing research support services and providing excellent customer service to Scholars Lab users. This position offers valuable experience by supporting the research enterprise of digital humanities and digital scholarship. It offers applicants work experience and relevant training that can benefit various career pursuits where digital tools and data skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. We want to emphasize that although experience in certain areas is desirable, candidates who meet the required qualifications and demonstrate excellent promise are encouraged to apply and will be given serious consideration.
Regular indoor working conditions.
As arranged with supervisor: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, for up to 20 hours/week.
