The Role

We're hiring a Founding AI Engineer to lead the engineering efforts of our AI agents. You'll be passionate about AI's potential to transform enterprise work and excited to build production-grade agents with best-in-class performance for large customers and datasets.

The right candidate will have high ownership mentality, infectious energy, and technical expertise to move the company and engineering organization forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure to process hundreds of thousands of queries per month—ensure accuracy and response rates for LLM calls and SQL responses

• Fine-tune models through code and prompt engineering to create optimal outputs from different LLMs

• Work with backend integrations to finance data sources (ERPs, banks, CRMs, HRIS) and data models to ensure agent accuracy

• Experiment with the latest models and AI advances to improve response rates and augment functionality—test new tools and create industry-leading expertise

• Own large parts of the product and engineering with a significant ownership mentality that drives meaningful outcomes

• Work directly with the team to build out engineering culture

About You

• 5+ years with production LLMs & AI agents: You have experience building software products with a focus on LLMs and have deployed AI agents in production environments. Ideally you're working with AI daily, but you may have built your own LLM-based projects or are deeply passionate about the space. We're all in on AI and want you to bring that same passion for the technology and its potential application within finance. You have strong experience in prompt engineering and actively keep up with the latest news and advancements in AI. Experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise technology is a plus.
