The Role: AI Engineer (Pathfinder Team)

The Pathfinder Team is our elite group of field-deployed engineers. Each team member has previous founding experience, with fanatical customer obsession and a proven track record of operating and winning in uncharted territory. These are the builders who sit in the trenches working side by side with our customers.

You’ll be embedded with operators running $100M+ businesses in order to understand their workflows and deploy Revin AI systems that unlock revenue-critical outcomes. You’ll prototype quickly, integrate deeply, and ship solutions that directly shape the future of our platform. This is a field role. You’ll be onsite, on calls, in Slack threads, and working hand-in-hand with our customers to turn messy real-world processes into scalable AI-powered systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast moving startup environment, working with cutting-edge generative AI, and multi-modal models.

What You’ll Do

• Spend upwards of 2 weeks of the month onsite with customers across North America, sitting at the forefront of applying AI to real world businesses.

• Own customer interactions, collaborating closely with customer executives and Revin’s GTM team to ensure customer delight and grow enterprise deals.

• Partner with our largest customers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions that embed Revin’s AI agents into core systems (Salesforce, ServiceTitan, i360, LeadPerfection, etc.)

• Deliver complex Revin deployments and activations in production, quarterbacking technical delivery from scoping and onboarding to stable usage and expansion.

• Work with Revin’s product and engineering teams to translate field insights into platform improvements, new products and features, and scalable internal tools.

• Communicate directly with the founding team, contributing to Revin’s roadmap.

Who You Are

• An engineer with 2+ years of experience shipping products at a startup or high velocity company. (We care less about titles and more about what you’ve shipped).

• A customer-obsessed go-getter who wants to be in the field, getting as close to the product as possible.

• An insanely ambitious builder, this isn’t just a job, it’s your shot to build a generational product.

• A continuous learner comfortable operating in ambiguity. You don’t wait for perfect specs: you ship, learn, and adapt and are constantly looking for new information.

• You’re fluent in Python and SQL, comfortable working with REST APIs, and able to move up the stack when needed (TypeScript/React, Node.js).

• You’re comfortable testing and debugging APIs with tools like Postman, and you know how to trace issues by digging into logs (e.g., BetterStack or similar).

• Bonus if you’ve built with LLM frameworks like LangChain.

Don’t Work Here If

• You wait for instructions instead of taking initiative.

• You want a safe, predictable 9–5. Expect 50+ hour work weeks. We’re looking for fanatics who don’t turn off. We’re constantly chasing excellence, if that’s not your goal, please don’t apply.

• You’re not excited about being the first team to apply AI into the built world. There will be no playbook, if you want a well trodden path, this is not the role for you.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $200,000/year depending on experience. Expect meaningful equity, by joining our team at <20 people, you own real upside.
