Job Description

Tokyo Electron America, Inc. seeks Engineer, Data III in Hillsboro, OR.

Duties: Design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software to capture, man-age, store and utilize structured and unstructured data frominternal and external sources. Establish and build processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. Develop technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis. Create and establish design standards and assurance processes for software, systems and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows and storage requirements. Review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggest changes and up-grades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. Design and manage integrated, scalable, ETL pipeline jobs for an edge computing environment using DAG-based products. Set strategic goals for data engineering roadmap and products.

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Analyst or related occupations. Requires 2 years of experience in the following: (1) Python in an equipment productivity analytics software development domain; (2) SQL in an equipment productivity analytics software development domain; (3) Industrial Productivity concept mastery in semiconductor manufacturing; (4) Prefect Orchestrator for container-based deployment solution; (5) SFTP protocol for B2B cron-based transfers; (6) Machine Learning. Telecommuting is permitted. Requires international travel 5% of the time.
