Udacity is seeking a Junior On-Call Video Producer for an ongoing contract role, primarily remote with periodic travel to San Francisco. This position involves assisting in the creation of course content and managing production responsibilities within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities: The producer will assist with Live Builds, track media progress, communicate with team members, provide technical support to instructors, and review content from the post-production team.
Skills: Candidates must have strong pre-production skills, proficiency in Adobe Premiere, experience with live broadcasts, and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of producing experience is required, along with familiarity with VMix or switcher boards. Experience with online learning and Adobe AfterEffects is a plus.
Location: Remote (within the US) with periodic travel to San Francisco required
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $20 - $35 per hour.

Udacity’s Video Production team is looking for a Junior On-Call Video Producer to assist with the creation of Udacity’s course content. The successful candidate will work on projects Sr. Manager assigned; assist with Live Builds; schedule productions; review and critique content from the post-production team; and work with instructors on camera.
The right candidate will possess strong pre-production skills and will know how to track media from concept through delivery. They’ll also be highly communicative and have experience working in fully integrated cross-functional teams. Producers that thrive at Udacity have experience juggling several projects simultaneously yet know when to ask for clarification.
