About the Department
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Works with the Director of Research, Manager of Implementation Research, and Principal Investigators to implement hospital-based research projects.
Leads efforts to execute scopes for various research and quality improvement projects at CCHE, including coordination with community partners and collaborating institutions.
Ensures compliance with requirements of funding sources (e.g., submitting program plans, providing progress reports, final reports, etc.) and compliance with human subjects research (support development of IRB protocols and submissions).
Supports the development of research study protocols, quality improvement plans, and standard operating procedures.
Facilitates the implementation of research study protocols.
Task manages and oversees work of research specialists and research assistants.
Applies research principles and relevant subject matter knowledge relevant to administer a research project. With a moderate level of direction, manages lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Helps develop, design and conduct research projects according to plan.
Supports data collection and analytical needs of research projects. Conducts literature reviews and helps write reports and manuscripts. Ensures project compliance with different policies, procedures, directives, and mandates.
Performs other related work as needed.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience:
Experience working with populations with limited access to care, such as emergency department patients or those vulnerable to HIV.
Experience working on multisite research projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
