Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting

Twin Health is a pioneering digital health company focused on reversing and improving chronic metabolic diseases using advanced technology and data. They are seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting to lead technical accounting initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare public company-ready financial reports in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Skills

  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Strong project management and multi-priority handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting for healthcare and technology-specific standards including revenue recognition, stock compensation, and leases.
  • Provide accounting guidance on complex contracts with healthcare providers, payers, and strategic partners.
  • Develop technical accounting memos for significant transactions such as licensing and financing.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations on accounting implications of regulations like HIPAA.
  • Develop and maintain company accounting policies.
  • Partner with sales and operations to evaluate contracts and ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP- and SEC-compliant financial statements and manage XBRL tagging.
  • Assist month-end and quarter-end close processes focusing on complex accounting areas.
  • Manage internal controls and compliance with a focus on healthcare operations and technology platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, FP&A, product, and operations teams to integrate financial and operational metrics.
  • Support financial evaluation of strategic initiatives and investor presentations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
