Skills
- Proven experience securing production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and security automation.
- Experience with container security and Kubernetes hardening.
- Strong knowledge of IAM design and least-privilege implementations.
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring stacks and incident detection/response.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, or ISO 27001.
- Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architectures and controls for AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Build and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging for detection and incident response in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Manage vulnerability management for cloud infrastructure including scanning, analysis, and remediation tracking.
- Implement and enforce IAM policies applying the principle of least privilege.
- Automate security tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud or security certifications are highly valued (CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure/GCP certs).
