Skills
- Modern web development with React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Backend engineering: RESTful and GraphQL API design and maintenance
- Experience building and operating ETL pipelines

- Understanding of relevance, ranking, and search performance tuning
- Knowledge of SEO, web performance, and structured content principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD, and observability tools

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain search-related services and components with emphasis on performance and relevance.
- Implement and optimize APIs (GraphQL and REST) that power search and content retrieval.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to process and index large datasets from internal and external sources.
- Collaborate on search results UX, filters, ranking, and query handling across web and mobile.
- Integrate with external APIs and internal platforms to enrich and keep search results fresh and consistent.
- Participate in system migrations, refactors, and modernization efforts.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor team members through code reviews and design discussions.
- Work with international and remote teammates to deliver reliable experiences at scale.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
